A Birds Eye View - Linoprint

This is reduction lino print, inspired from a very hot day visit to Old Town Corfu.

This is a limited edition reduction lino-print. An edition of 12 prints, which cannot be reproduced. The design is drawn onto the lino and then the first cut made, inked up and printed. This process if repeated, cutting further into the lino and inking up with further colours, as the lino is carved each time, it is impossible to make more, as the final print has very little of the original lino left.

In 'A Bird's Eye View' there are five seperate ink layers printed.

In the very nature of printmaking, no two pieces will be exactly the same, so the piece of art you buy, will be unique to you. This is not mass-produced, it is hand carved, inked and printed in a very small studio in my house in Pembrokeshire.
