Expanse - linoprint

This is 'Expanse', a reduction linoprint, depicting a Pembrokeshire beach on a clear, big sky day.

This is a very limited edition reduction lino-print. An edition of six prints, which cannot be reproduced. The design is drawn onto the lino and then the first cut made, inked up and printed. This process is repeated, cutting further into the lino and inking up with further colours, as the lino is carved each time, it is impossible to make more, as the final print has very little of the original lino left.

In 'Expanse' there are four ink colours, seperately printed.

This is a very small edition and each print varies, so ask to see remaining to stock to chose your piece.

In the very nature of printmaking, no two pieces will be exactly the same, so the piece of art you buy, will be unique to you. This is not mass-produced, it is hand carved, inked and printed in a very small studio in my house in Pembrokeshire.
